Martyr Daria Timagina was born in the late 1870s. At the age of 15, she began to visit the martyr Eudokia Sheikova, who became famous for her ascetic life. Despite her parents' objections, Daria ran away to Eudokia, living with her for 20 years in prayer and labor.
On August 18, 1919, Eudokia was sentenced to execution. Martyr Daria, along with other disciples, decided to share the fate of her mentor. Two hours before her death, they were communed by the priest Father Vasily. The disciples accompanied Eudokia to the place of execution and were shot at the village cemetery, buried in a common grave.
Martyr Daria was glorified by the Archierarchical Jubilee Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000. In 2001, the relics of the Nizhny Novgorod martyrs were uncovered and now rest in the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God in the village of Suvorovo.
