Branko Dobrosavlevich was born on January 4, 1886, in the town of Skrad. In 1908, he graduated from the Srem-Karlovci Theological Seminary and was ordained to the diaconate, and then to the priesthood. He served in several parishes of the Gornokarlovac Diocese. For his zealous service, he was awarded the Order of Saint Sava and the Order of the Crown of Yugoslavia, 5th class. On May 6, 1941, Father Branko was arrested during the bloody reprisals of the Ustaše. Along with him, his son Nebojsa and priest Dimitrij Skorupan were also arrested. They were all tortured in the gendarmerie prison, and the next day, on May 7, they were brutally killed in the Kestenovac forest. After the war, in 1946, the holy remains were transferred to Veljun and buried in a mass grave.
