Anisia Maslanova

Anisia Maslanova was born in the village of Barmino, in the Makariev District of the Novgorod region.
In the autumn of 1937, she was arrested and accused of participating in a counter-revolutionary ecclesiastical organization. However, she never admitted guilt and refused to testify against others.
She was sentenced to death and got executed on 3 December 1937. She was canonized by the Bishops' Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
