Andrei Dobrynin, presbyter

Saint Andrew was born on August 10, 1874, in the village of Rozhdestveno-Prozorovo, Molotsk district of Yaroslavl province. After graduating from the Yaroslavl Theological Seminary, he was ordained a priest and served in the church in the village of Prechistoe-Naumovo. In November 1937, the priests of the Danilov district were arrested; Father Andrew was accused of counter-revolutionary activities. On January 28, 1938, he was arrested and imprisoned in a prison in the city of Danilov. On February 10, the NKVD troika sentenced him to execution. On February 21, 1938, Father Andrew was shot and buried in an unknown common grave.
