Saint Anastasija, born in 1879 in the village of Staroje Drakino, was entrusted with the leadership of the church council. She cared for the local church and the church utensils, maintaining a monastic way of life even after the monastery was closed. Arrested as a member of a 'counter-revolutionary group', she was executed by shooting on August 10, 1937. Saint Anastasija was glorified among the ranks of the new martyrs of Russia in 2000.
