Saint Agrippina was born and raised in Rome. From an early age, she dedicated her life to God. Through her pure virgin soul, her serenity and love for the Lord, she radiated a fragrance of spiritual beauty.
During the reign of Emperor Valerian, she courageously surrendered herself to every trial, without fear and with eager expectation of the Kingdom of Heaven. She was beaten and held captive until an angel of the Lord freed her from her chains.
After her martyrdom, her body was buried secretly by faithful Christians. When her holy relics were brought to Sicily, the region was delivered from demonic forces and miraculously protected from the attacks of the Saracens.
At the tomb of Saint Agrippina, numerous miracles and healings took place for those who approached with faith.
