Venerable Agathon the Wonderworker lived an ascetic life at the Kyiv Lavra during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. He was a distinguished monk renowned for his profound spiritual struggles and virtues. Through his prayers, he healed the sick, while he was also granted the gift of prophecy. He had a foresight and knew the time of his own repose.
His holy relics are preserved in the Kyiv Caves Lavra (Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra), where they continue to be venerated by the faithful.
